DRIFT PRESENTS AEOLUS AT LADBROKE HALL

Presenting our new work, Aeolus, premiering with Carpenters at Ladbroke Hall.

Wind is one of the most essential forces on Earth, yet it remains invisible to our eyes. We perceive it through its fleeting effects on the natural world, sensing its presence without ever seeing its form.

With Aeolus, DRIFT gives physical form to the movement of air. Named after the Greek god of the winds, the installation translates airflow into a sculptural composition of glass and light, with a form that takes inspiration from its surroundings.

While the glass captures the geometry of the airflow, light travels through the sculpture, responding to the movement of visitors. A moment of movement is held in space, where stillness and change exist side by side.

On view until October 25, 2026. Photos by Benjamin Baccarani.
