‘GlassFever’, DordtYart | In 20 Steps

For 25 years Adriano Berengo has been a passionate promoter of the use of glass in the visual arts. In his glass factory on Murano in Venice, established artists and emerging talents from around the world work together with the maestros of the glass furnaces. Berengo wants to bring contemporary art in glass as an autonomous art form to the highest podium, next to painting and sculpture. GlassFever shows the results of Berengo’s mission on four special locations in Dordrecht: The Dordrecht Museum, DordtYart, Museum Huis van Gijn and the Dordrecht Patriciershuis. Over 80 objects and installations in glass by some 60 artists.
